The Embodied Movement class is an 8-week program designed for All Folx (any body or identity welcome) aged 18 and up. It aims to promote healing and self-discovery through mindfulness, visual processing, verbal processing, and gentle movement. The class focuses on the following objectives:
Deconstruct Harmful Narratives: Participants will address negative body image and exercise/movement beliefs.
Reconnect Sensory and Emotional Experience: Explore methods to reconnect with the joy of movement and identity.
Redefine Relationships: Participants will redefine their relationship with their bodies, exercise, and movement based on personal values and preferences.
The class runs from April 2nd to May 21st, every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, at Making Space: A Therapeutic Community. The cost for the 8-week course is $360.
